As Askon Group of companies,

acts in line with the following objectives to establish, implement and ensure continuous improvement of an energy management system:

• Establish the system in compliance with the ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems standard and ensure its continuity.
• Identify the legal requirements, contractual obligations, and technical requirements to create an adequate energy management system.
• Ensure compliance with relevant procedures necessary to get the design and procurement processes done with focus placed on energy efficiency.
• Ensure that the energy management system is integrated with all corporate management system in line with our continuous improvement strategy and ensure continuity of review activities.
• Plan and implement energy efficiency activities based on an action plan for goals and objectives set for each year in order to mitigate the environmental impacts and greenhouse gas emissions, and conduct research on the availability of renewable energy sources.
• Form an energy management team and create a training program.

To achieve the foregoing goals and objectives, Askon group undertakes to adopt an efficient energy management approach based upon the following principles:

• Offer a management approach that complies with the requirements of our corporate objectives and energy management strategy.
• Make efficient use of energy while ensuring the continuity of engineering activities and operations under our responsibility.
• Engage in effective communication with all stakeholders, authorities, sub-contractors, and clients for the purpose of raising awareness of energy efficiency.
• Employ a systematic method for efficient resource management in the generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption of energy.
• Ensure perpetual efficiency while satisfying the expectations of stakeholders.
• Manage energy with a systematic method compliant with our asset and environmental management system and give support to continuous improvement activities.
• Minimize energy consumption without compromising on comfort and life safety.
• Develop adequate methods for improved energy efficiency based on an action plan for energy goals and objectives.
